Dr. Ted ButchartDr. Butchart is a Naturopathic Physician and graduate of Bastyr University School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington. He is licensed as a family practice physician in Washington, D.C., and has received over 700 hours of graduate and post-graduate training in Homeopathy. His office is located in Staunton, Virginia.

Dr. Butchart practices natural medicine and uses the whole range of naturopathic healing modalities, including botanical medicines, diet and nutritional supplements, and, especially, homeopathy. His areas of interest include psychological and emotional issues, panic, anxiety, ADD and ADHD, addiction, PTSD, grief, feelings of anger and hopelessness, chronic diseases of all sorts, unexplained fatigue and pain, stress and exhaustion.
In addition to his natural medicine practice at Virginia Natural Health, Dr. Butchart is Chief Medical Officer for TheraVerde Health, and the Director of the GreenFire Institute, where he has taught Straw Bale Construction to home owners, architects, and building officials. He has taught Permaculture Design for the last 24 years to several hundred students and is co-founder of the Shenandoah Permaculture Institute.
